Mr V. Ramsurrun is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Banking and Finance and has worked for the Universite des Mascareignes (formerly Swami Dayanand Institute of Management) since 1996.
Mr V. Ramsurrun is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountant (FCCA), and holds an MBA with specialisation in Finance and Investment. He is also a member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA).
Mr V. Ramsurrun lectures in various modules including Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Reporting, Taxation and Portfolio Management.
Prior to joining the university, Mr Ramsurrun has worked for some of the major Accounting firms, namely Coopers and Lybrand and KPMG. He has gained a wide range of experience in accounting, auditing and taxation across various sectors of the Mauritian economy.
